Hi there! So you want to know what food blogger tools myself and plenty of other bloggers use? Below I have listed my top 5 best tools for managing my food blog! These food blogging tools range from what email marketing tools I use (and why!), which content management and posting tools I think are the best for blogging, and of course design and SEO tools for food blogging. - Paige

1.Best Email Marketing for Food Blogging: ConvertKit

This is the email marketing tool of my dreams! I’ve done all the testing for you (I’ve used Squarespace, MailChimp, & FloDesk)! ConvertKit has a free plan option which is

a. Brilliant for giving them a test run.

b. When you start blogging you need to keep your expenses low.

Not only am I a food blogger, I’m also a marketing specialist with 10+years under my belt! Particularly I shine in customer behavioral analytics. So I know how important it is to really know and understand your readership or customer base.

ConvertKit allows you to segment (just a fancy way of saying adding tags to your readers, so that you know what they are interested in) and to automate the whole process.

If you have any questions feel free to drop me a message on our contact page!

2.Best Content Management Tool for Food Blogging: Later

I use the Later app for posting to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest but I also use another tool (which is mentioned below).

If you think I have used all the email marketing platforms then I way outstrip that with social media planning/posting tools. I've tried manually posting, Google calendars, Google spreadsheets, Canva (yes they have a posting calendar!), Hootsuite, & Loomly.

Later is by far the easiest platform when you want to post to multiple sites. Hands down (I wish there was a emoji for that saying!). They have a free 14-day trial!

3.Best Pinterest Management Tool for Food Blogging: TailWind

Now Tailwind dominates when it comes to finding the best social media posting tool for Pinterest.

I used to use it for Instagram also but I found Later works better for that.

Tailwind gives you the ability to use re-occurring posts (awesome for high performing posts!) but my absolute favorite part is the Pinterest communities!

4.Best Social Media Design Software for Food Blogging: Canva

I use Canva for creating my Pinterest posts which has food blog example templates you can use (thank goodness cause I cannot design these to save myself!).

An extra tip from me, go check out your favorite food blogs on Pinterest and actually look at how they set up their Pins. Pinterest is so amazing for giving you great food blog examples.
